Robert H. "Boots" Burris Sr., 69, of Morrilton, died Sun., Aug. 20, 1995. 
He was born Jan. 8, 1926, in Conway, a son of Ottis G. Burris and Gertrude 
Hill Burris. Mr. Burris owned and operated Burris Grocery for 30 yrs. and 
was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include three sons, Keith Burris and Floyd Burris, both of 
Morrilton, and Lloyd Burris of Russellville; two daughters, Karen Dunn of 
Russellville, and Mary Jane Riddling of Little Rock; one brother, Troy 
Burris of Calif.; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Robert H. Burris Jr., and a brother, 
Jay Burris.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. today (Wed.) at the Harris Chapel by 
the Rev. Bobby Spencer. Burial will be at St. Joe’s Cemetery by Harris 
Funeral Home of Morrilton.

Pallbearers will be Melton Haley, Gary Huett, Larry Miller, Ralph Huett, 
Tim Treadway, and Terry Green.
