Paul DeWitt Gordon, 40, of San Francisco, Calif., formerly of Solgohachia, died 
Wed., Aug. 9.

Survivors include parents, Mr. and Mrs. Othello Gordon of Solgohachia; one 
brother, John S. Gordon of Alvin, Texas; one sister, Susan Gordon of Conway, 
Ark.; one nephew, Scott Stanford Gordon of Alvin, Texas; one aunt, Lena Hotten 
of Plumerville; one uncle and aunt, Dr. and Mrs. F. DeWitt Stanford of Orlando, 
Fla., and several cousins.

Paul graduated from Morrilton High School in 1972 and from Southwest State Univ. 
in Springfield, Mo., with a degree in education in 1976. He then received a 
degree in law from Rutgers Univ. School of Law in Camden, N.J., in 1979. He was 
a practicing attorney in Little Rock before moving to San Francisco, Calif., in 
1985.

Because of his love for books and reading, contributions may be made to the Conway 
County Library or to the music fund at the First United Methodist Church in Morrilton 
because of his love of music.
