AUG. 23, 1995 Mrs. Katie Alverson Prince, 69, of Adona, died Fri., Aug. 18, 1995. She was the widow of William T. Prince. She was born Jan. 17, 1926, in Thomas, Okla., a daughter of Harley Ransom Brookshire and Ester Savely Brookshire Hinton. She was a retired sales clerk and was a member of the Northwest Assembly of God in North Little Rock. Survivors include three sons, Joel Melvin Alverson of Morrilton, Jearl Ray Alverson of Perry, and Jerry Wayne Alverson of Oppelo; two daughters, Janet Marie Alverson Dicus of Adona and Jeanne Carolina Alverosn Huff of Petit Jean Mountain; five brothers, James Brookshire of Pacific, Mo., Harley Brookshire of Portland, Ore., J. D. Hinton of Hardy, Curtis Hinton of Goldsboro, N. C., and Bobby Hinton of Sikeston, Mo.; four sisters, Grace White of Jonesboro, Mildren Smith of Gladewater, Texas, Flora Freeman of Las Vegas, Nev., and Myrtle Faye Little of Henderson, Nev.; 10 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 10 a.m. Mon. at the Oppelo Assembly of God by Bro. Henry Bateman. Burial was at Wolf Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. Pallbearers were Dwight Dicus, Greg Dicus, Paul Alverson, Jason Alverson, Brian Alverson, and Wayne Stone. Honorary pallbearers were Dusty Huff, Clint Huff, Rebecca Wilson, and Brad Jones.
