Died in Jonesboro, Ark on June 29, 1959.
    
Survivors include his wife Mary M. Birchfield, 3 daughters; Shelby Jean 
Cox, Betty Sue Calhoun and Imanell Bodkins. One son Gary Lynn Birchfield.
