Creekmore, 87, of Marion, Ark., carpenter, died Monday of heart disease at Methodist Hospital in Memphis. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphis with burial in Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion. Mr. Creekmore, the husband of Zela Creekmore, also leaves seven sons, Melvin Creekmore, Delbert Creekmore and Dean Creekmore, all of West Memphis, Alfred Creekmore of Marion, Richard Creekmore of Bartlett, Preston Creekmore of Horn Lake, Miss., and Walter Creekmore of La Place, La.; two sisters, Edna Holland of Red Bay, Ala., and Irene Holland of Jolliet, Ill., 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home's chapel with burial in Crittenden Memorial Park. Visitation will be at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Creekmore, 87, a carpenter, raised seven sons on Bruins Plantion on Horseshoe Lake with all seven graduating from Hughes High School and two graduating from college. A Red Bay, Ala. native, he moved to Crittenden County from Elaine in 1953 and had lived in Marion since 1982. He leaves his wife of 59 years, Mrs. Zela Chappell Creekmore; seven sons, Melvin Creekmore and Delbert Creekmore of West Memphis, Alfred Creekmore of Marion, Richard Creekmore of Bartlett, Tenn., Preston Creekmore of Horn Lake, Miss., Walter Creekmore of La Place, La., and Dean Creekmore of West Memphis; two sisters, Edna Holland of Red Bay and Irene Holland of Joliet, Ill., 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. *******************************************************************************
