James Lambert

DUMAS -- James Glenn Lambert, 90, of Dumas, died Thursday.
  He was born Jan. 16, 1914, at Story, a son of the late James Morgan
Lambert and Adlinda Rebecca Stewart Lambert.
  He was a farmer in Desha County for 44 years.
  He was a founder and lifetime member of First Delta Church of God at
Dumas.
  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Oletha Dee Allen Lambert; 
one son, James Charles Lambert; one daughter, Margaret Sue Lambert; and 
one stepson, James Ezelle Simmons.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Clemmie Clary Lambert; one son,
  James Glendon Lambert of Dumas; three daughters, Melba Dean James of 
Pine Bluff, Barbara Sue Riley of Dumas and Glenda Vonne Moring of Little 
Rock; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-
grandchildren.
  Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at First Baptist Church 
with the Revs. Leonard Ricketts and Ross Woodbury officiating. Burial 
will be in Walnut Lake Cemetery by Griffin Funeral Home at Dumas.
