Luella Lambert
Luella Howerton Lambert, 87, of Dumas, died January 3, 2001, at Delta
Memorial Hospital at Dumas.
  Born December 28, 1913, in Yell County, she was a daughter of the late
Bob Howerton and Minnie McConnell Howerton.
  She was a member of First Delta Church of God. She was a homemaker.
  Survivors include her husband, Robert Lambert Sr.; two sons, Euion
Lambert of Pueblo, Colorado, and Robert Lambert Jr. of Dermott; a
daughter, Nina Fay Spainhour of Little Rock; a sister, Elois Smallwood 
of Dumas; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two 
great-great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Delta Church of 
God at Dumas with the Rev. Jim Lambert officiating. Burial will be in 
Walnut Lake Cemetery by Griffin Funeral Home of Dumas.
  Memorials may be made to the Delta Church of God, 102 South Peterson
Street, Dumas, AR 71639.
