S. J. Rawls
Know all men by these presents that Mr. W. W. Duncan as principal and
 H. L. Henry as security are held and firmly bound unto the State of
 Arkansas for the use and benefit of the Common School Fund of Drew County
 in the penal [?] sum of One Hundred Dollars for the payment of which
 will [?] and truly [?] to be made. We bind  ourselves, our heirs,
 executors and administrators firmly by these presents. Signed this 12th day of
 October 1877.  The condition of the above obligation is such that
 whereas, to the Clerk of the County Court of Drew County for a License
 authorizing the solemnization of the Rite of Matrimony between the said W.
 W. Duncan and Miss S. J. Rawls. Now if the said parties applying for
 said License have in lawful sight[?] to the same, and if they shall
 faithfully carry into effect, and comply with the provisions thereof,
 au--[?], shall, within sixty days from the date hereof, return the said
 License to the office of the Clerk of the County
 Court of said County, duly executed and officially signed by some one
 authorized by law to solemnize the Rite of Matrimony then this
 obligation shall be void, but otherwise to remain[?] in full force and virtue.

            To any person authorized by law to solemnize marriage,
 Greeting: You are hereby commanded to solemnize the Rites and publish the
 bans of matrimony between Mr. W. W. Duncan of the County of D--[copy cut
 off] and State of Arkansas, aged twenty seven years, and Miss S. J.
 Rawls of the County of Drew and State of Arkansas, aged sixteen years,
 according to law, and do you officially sign and -aturn[?] this license
 to the parties herein named. Witness my hand and official ---[cut off]

 October, A. D. 1877

            I, Benjamin McGehee do hereby certify that on the 25 day of
 October, A. D. 1877, I did duly according to law, as commanded in the
