Taken from the Arkansas Democrat Victor Bayard Henderson Sr. 71, Naylor Community Farmer died Saturday, 3/26/1960 at his home after an illness of 2 months. Born in Llano, Texas, 10/16/1888. Son of Dave & Mary Belle (Foster) Henderson. He married the former Ruth Brewer Sellman on 3/24/1912. He moved to faulkner County from Texas 8 years ago. He was a Baptist. Survivors; 6 sons, V. B. Henderson Jr. of N.L.R., Sellman & Glen Henderson of Naylor, William Henderson of Ft. Worth, Texas, Robert Henderson of Dublin, Texas, & Charles Henderson of Rochelle, Texas. 1 Sister Mrs. Grady Wallace of Austin, Texas. 14 grandchildren, & 1 great-grandchild. Funeral Today at Naylor Methodist Church by Rev. Andrew Isaacs. Burial in Pleasant Valley Methodist Cemetery of Naylor... Pall Bearers; Forest Jobe, Alton Ruple, K.W. Ruth Brewer (Sellman) Henderson.......died Saturday 3/4/1967 at Conway Memorial Hospital after an illness of 7 weeks. She was the widow of V. B. Henderson Sr. She was born 7/8/1892..Daughter of Charlie J. Sellman & Nannie Roberts of Old Rochelle, Texas. She was a member of the Primitative Baptist Church. She died 1 day before the death of her sister, Mrs. Stella Humphrey, of San Antonio, Texas. She is survived by 6 Sons; V.B. Henderson Jr of N.L.R., Sellman & Glen of Naylor, William of Azle, Texas, Robert & Charles of Rochelle, Texas...2 Sisters; Mrs. Mae Henry of Brady, Texas, & Mrs. Nell Chesser of Brownwood, Texas. 3 Brothers; Tom Sellman of Brady, Texas, Howard Sellman of San Saba, Texas, Frank Sellman of Hurley, New Mexico. 15 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
