MISS LENA M. HESS
Miss Lena M. Hess, 86, of Conway died Wednesday, (June 14, 1995), at The
Heritage Center in Conway.
Born Aug. 19, 1908, in Conway, a daughter of John and Annie Hartman Hess.
She owned and operated Hess Sewing shop in Conway for 40 years and was a
member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the church's Christian Ladies
Society and the Homemakers Club.
She is survived by a sister, Louise Stiefvater of Conway; and two nieces
and five nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church
with the Rev. Tony McKay officiating.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Hess, Bob Hogan, Jim Stiefvater, Ralph Stiefvater,
Ray Stiefvater, and Mark Stiefvater.
A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in
Conway.
Memorials may be made to the St. Joseph Church Endowment Fund.
