Martha Ann Thompson 2/28/1900 The Arkansas Baptist

TURNER-Martha A. Was born in McNary County, Tenn.in 1840. Died 
December 15, 1899. She was married to Eld. Vines Turner in July. 
1873. She professed a hope in Christ in early life and was 
baptised into fellowship with the Baptist church at Ripley, Tenn., 
by Eld.C. C. Connor. At the time of her death she was a member of 
Greenbrier church. Her remains were laid to rest in Mt. Olive 
cemetery near Quitman. Funeral services conducted by the writer. 
Another sweet-spirited, gentle, loving Christian woman gone to
her reward in heaven. She met death with perfect composure. Her 
death was as the setting of a radiant sun. Her pastor,
