John Harris

John Coleman Harris, 88, of Charleston died Monday, Dec 31, 2007.
  Born March 12, 1919, in the Ursula Community in Sebastian County, he was a
retired dairy farmer, a board member of the Morris Cemetery Association and a
member of Cornerstone Free Will Baptist Church in Bloomer. He was the widower of
Allie Harris.
  Survivors include his wife, Audra; a daughter, Nancy Moore of Charleston; two
stepdaughters, Linda Case of Charleston and Wilma Dow of Caulksville; a stepson,
Roger VanCleave of Charleston; two grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; two
great-grandchildren and 14 step great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services will be at 10 am Thursday at Cornerstone Free Will Baptist
Church in Bloomer, with burial at Morris Cemetery, Bloomer, under the direction
of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home of Charleston.
  Pallbearers will be Lewis Griffith, Donald Cook, Kevin Shotzman, Ralph Dow,
Russell Sparks and Gene Eddings.
  The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 pm today (Wednesday) at the
funeral home.
