Flynn Passes Away Saturday Joseph F. Flynn was born September 20, 1869; died April 29, 1950 at the age of 80 years, 8 months and 9 days. He was united in marriage to Kelly Hill in 1894. She preceded him in death May 1, 1907. To this union 3 children were born; John Flynn of Hardy, Arkansas; Ores Flynn of Mammoth Spring; Jodi Flynn of Kermit, Texas. He was married to Katy Smith in August 4, 1918. To this union five children were born: Mart Flynn of Casper, Wyoming; Floyd Flynn of St. Louis, Mo.; Josephine Burt, Kartes, Wyo; Burniece Keith, Casper, Wyo; Opal Turner Koshonong, Mo; and one step daughter, Isophen Nickels of Hardy, Arkansas; one sister, Minnie Hembrey of Mammoth Spring,Arkansas; one half brother Frank Garigan of Tulsa, Okla; one half sister, Mary Warley [sic] of Mountain Grove, Mo; 19 grand children, 6 step grand children, and 5 great grand children. He became a member of the Church of Christ in 1942. Funeral services were held at the Main Street Church of Christ Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Truman House, minister. Body was taken to the home to lie in state until 9 a.m. Wednesday, awaiting arrival of relatives. Burial was made in Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home.
