New York Times Jul.22,1906-Reid Gantt, a lawyer of Hot Springs, Ark., was found
dead in bed yesterday from heart disease. He was the author of the present
Arkansas “Jim Crow” law. Born Sep.31,1866 Died Jul.21,1906 buried Hollywood
Cemetery, Hot Springs, Ark.
