Arkansas (presumed it appeared in the Hot Springs Paper) no dateline October 15, 1918 for Emiline (Nodine) Cummins MRS. LOWER'S MOTHER DIES Mrs. E. T. Cummins, mother of Mrs. Robert H. Lower, died at Little Rock Sunday afternoon. The funeral will be held from Gross Undertaking parlors at 10 a.m. Tuesday and will be private. Services will be held at the grave, conducted by the Rev. NETTIE LOWER Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie Lower, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alene Davies, 321 Arkansas-Missouri highway, Park Hill, Saturday night, will be hedl at the Gross mortuary, Hot Springs, at 3 p.m. Monday in charge of the Rev. Charles Collins, pastor of St. Luke's Episcopal church. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery in charge of P.H. Ruebel & Co. Pallbearters will be: A. T. Henderson, Hames Denby, Bentley Thomas, A. T. Davies and Dr. J. T. Randolph. Mrs. Lower, formerly a resident of Hot Springs. She was born in Winona, Ill. Her husband was the late Robert H. Lower, Hot Springs druggist. ============================================================= Hot Springs, Arkansas Paper July 5th, 1929 Obituary for Robert H. Lower Deaths Robert H. Lower Robert H. Lower, aged 68, died last night in St. Vincent's hospital in Little Rock. Mr. Lower was one of the pioneer druggists of this city having resided here for about 40 years. At the time of his death, he was president of the Lower Medicine Company, of this city, which manufactured a number of remedies that bore his name. Mr. Lower was a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church of this city, and a member of the local Woodman of the World and Knights of Pythias lodges. He was born in Cairo, Ill. He is survived by his widow, Nettie Lower, two daughters, Miss Frances Lower, Hot Springs, and Aline Davies of Little Rock; a son, Albert W. Lower, El Dorado; and two brothers, Edward Lower, Anadarko, Okla., and Harry R. Lower, Hot Springs. He was also a brother to the late George Lower, for many years editor of the newspaper here. The body was broght to the Gross Mortuary in this city last night. Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Gross Mortuary chapel by the Rev. Charles F. Collins, rector of St. Luke's Episcopal church. Burial will be in Hollywood cemetery. The Knights of Pythias will conduct services at the grave. Pallbearers will be: W. A. Kirk, F. C. Boving, J. G. Blaschke, Steven Spargo, J. P. Wright and S. C. Cassell. ===================== Republic, Hot Springs, AR October 27, 1912 Physician Dies on Street Dr. C. S. Lower of Hot Springs Expires Hurrying to Patron HOT SPRINGS, ARK., Oct. 27 -- While hurrying up Central avenue this afternoon in an effort to return change to a customer he had served in his brother's drug store a few moments before, Dr. C. S. Lower was stricken by apoplexy and expired. He was 58 years old and is survived by a wife and three sons -- Harry T., Robert, and George; one sister, Mrs. Madge Hager of Oklahoma City, and three brothers -- George H., editor of The Daily News, and R. H. and H. R. Lower, all of this city.
