Erma was born in Miami, Iowa on June 29, 1922, the daughter of Elmer and Blanche Jones. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Russell H. Erickson, a son Freddie and sister Ardie. She is survived by a daughter, Judy Soutter of Des Moines, Iowa; a son and daughter-in-law, Rusty and Beth Erickson of Hot Springs. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Rick, Rod and Todd Heathershaw, Kirk Erickson and Jenny Smith; five great-grandchildren, Charlsie, Harrison, Andrew, Matthew and Sidney, as well as sisters, Wilma, Jennie, Edie and Cousin Dwayne. The last five years of Ermas’s life were made pleasant and comfortable by the loving care of her friend and companion, Grace Bull, along with the excellent attention of the administrators, doctors, nurses and caregivers of Quapaw Health Center. There will be a private memorial service at Crestview Mausoleum. Mrs. Kathryn Lee Tuberville Kathryn Lee Tuberville, 58, of Royal, died Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at home. Born April 14, 1947 in Hot Springs to Daniel and Della Mae Broughton Rainwater, she was a member of First Baptist Church of Royal. She was predeceased by her parents; a son, Nicky Tuberville and sister, Denise Willis. Survivors include her husband, Fred Tuberville of Royal; three daughters and one son, Dianne Huff of Gladewater, Texas, Kelly Smith, Heather Tuberville and Timmy Tuberville, all of Royal; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Danny and Michelle Rainwater and Darryl and Debbie Rainwater, all of Hot Springs; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Karen and Bill Chriswisser of Hanna, Wyoming, Jackie and Tom Whitehead and Sharon Bever, all of Hot Springs; two grandchildren, Brian Huff and Phillip Huff. Services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2005 at First Baptist Church of Royal with Brother George Lynch officiating. Born March 22, 1959 in Hot Springs to Arthur E. and Ethel Fay Geiger Young, he was a member of Union Baptist Church, graduate of Quapaw Technical College and attended Arkansas State University. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Young of Hot Springs; mother, Ethel Fay Young of Hot Springs; three daughters and one son, Tetricia Young of Little Rock, Sophia Young, Sierria Goffigan and Anthony Goffigan, all of Hot Springs; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Contessa Young of Hot Springs and Arthenia & Kerry Newburn of Rockford, Illinois; two brothers, Ricky Young and Steven Young, both of Hot Springs; mother-in-law, Carolyn Gray of Hope; grandmother, Zeola Geiger of Hot Springs; and one granddaughter, Andrayia Starks. Services are 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2005, at Union Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Douglas E. Jones officiating. Pallbearers will be Darrell Geiger, Ronald Davis, Jason Byers, J. C. Booker, James Cheatham, Richard Byrd and Jack Clayborn. Honorary pallbearers are Ray Tellis, Lacy Griffith, Deacons and Trustees of Union Missionary Baptist Church and Hot Springs High School Class of 1978. Burial will be in Crestview Cemetery.
