All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************************** Joe Bob Cooper Funeral arrangements for Joe Bob Cooper, 79, of Prattsville, Ark., who died Dec. 24, 2001 in Hot Spring County Medical Center in Malvern were held Dec. 29, at 11 a.m. at Davis Creek Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Forest Chester Cooper of Mt. Gail Baptist Church in Mayflower officiating. Burial was in Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville with Brandon's Mortuary of Malvern in charge of arrangements. Joe Bob "J.B." Cooper was born May 5, 1922 to the late Clayton and Sarah McCollum Cooper in Prattsville. He was a member of Davis Creek Missionary Baptist Church and an usher. Joe Bob was retired maintenance worker for the Ford Dealership in Sheridan. He was also predeceased by one daughter, Kathryne Tate. Survivors included his wife: Earnistine Cooper of Prattsville; two sons: Charles McCollum and Allen Cooper, both of Little Rock; three daughters: Lorine Davis (David) of Little Rock, Roberta Corbin (Curtis) of Pine Bluff, Ruby Watson (Ronnie) of Ft. Stewart, Ga., one brother; Franklin Cooper (Freddie) of Hot Springs; four sisters: Martha Hawkins of Malvern, and Jannie Cooper, Josie Cooper, and Quincy Cooper, all of St. Louis, Mo.; 25 grandchildren; and 20 great- grandchildren.
