Herman T. Johnson

    Herman Thomas Johnson, 71, of Sheridan, Ark., was born April 4,
1930, in Harperville, Ms., to the late William Carl Johnson and
Fannie Roberts Johnson. He died Dec. 19, 2001, at his home in
Sheridan.
    Mr. Johnson was retired from Masco Corporation as a pipe fitter
and was a Korean Army Veteran.
    Survivors are his wife: Lila Beck Johnson; son: Herman Paul
Johnson of Sheridan; daughter: Judy Faye Johnson Salvidar of
Sheridan; grandchildren: Crystal May Johnson, Dustin Johnson,
Michelle Johnson, Lea Johnson and Mandi Owens; a brother: Eugene
Johnson of Conway; and sisters: Lanora Johnson and Lucinday Spell,
both of Jackson, Miss.
    Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Dec. 22 in the Buie
Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Tim Montgomery officiating.
Burial was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Sheridan.
    Pallbearers were Howard Johnson, Leon Lancaster, Rodney Wilson,
J.L. Wilson, Eddie Sheridan and Frank Spell. Honorary pallbearers
were James Earl Johnson and J.R. Jones.
    Arrangements were by Buie Funeral Home.
