KILBURN Charles Franklin Kilburn of Sheridan, Ark., was born Dec. 7, 1940, at Gravelly, the son Ellen Yandell Kilburn of Sheridan and the late James Kilburn. He died Jan. 8, 2000, at his home at the age of 59. He was a Baptist, a retired mechanic and was retired from the Sheridan Volunteer Fire Department and ambulance service where he served as and E. M. T. Mr. Kilburn formerly worked at the Ice House Restaurant in Sheridan. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Kilburn; two brothers, Earnest and J. T. Kilburn; and a sister, Leta Joy Kilburn. In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife: Barbara Wyles Kilburn of Sheridan; a son, Harvey Kilburn of East End; a daughter, Roxanne Taylor of Sheridan; brothers: Leon Kilburn of Sheridan, Tommy Kilburn of Mississippi, and Roy Kilburn of Texas; sisters: Jean Wormington of Searcy, LaVita Vincent of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Dorothie Henry of Texas; and five grandchildren. Funeral Services were held Jan. 10, at the Buie Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Paul Roberts officiating. Burial was in Lost Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joe Harris, Jim Kelly, Stan Choate, Dennis Kelly, Henry Wells, Wayne Valentine, Jerry Coleman, and Harvey Koon.
