EARNEST LEE KILBURN

Earnest Lee Kilburn, 59, of Dumas, Ark., died on Saturday, April 13, 1996
in Dumas.

Mr. Kilburn was born Dec. 29, 1936, to Frank Kilburn and Ellen Yandell
Kilburn in Oklahoma, but lived most of his live(sic) in Dumas.  He served
in the Air Force and was self-employed as a truck driver.  He was a
Baptist.

He is survived by his wife:  Kay Lee Kilburn of Dumas; his mother, Ellen
Kilburn of Sheridan; son: Don Kilburn of Dumas; daughters: Toni Carter and
Sheila Carter of Gillett, Ark., and Christie Freeman of Dumas; brothers:
Charles Kilburn and Leon Kilburn of Sheridan, Tommy Kilburn of Caldonia,
Miss., and Roy Kilburn of Tyler, Texas; sisters: Jean Wormington of North
Hollywood, Calif., Vada Hardgrove of Searcy, Ark., LaVita Vincent of
Sheridan, and Dorothy Henry of Dallas, Texas; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were held April 16 at 10 a.m. in Griffin Funeral Home
Chapel with the Revs. W. W. Massey and Julius Carter officiating.  Burial
was in Urania Cemetery in Urania, La.

Arrangements were by Griffin Funeral Home in Dumas.
