She was born in Kingsland, Arkansas May 2, 1902. She was a housewife, a member of Bethany No. Missionary Baptist Church at Grapevine, and a member of the Adult Sunday School Class. Survivors include 6 sons: Virgil Lightsey and Veo Lightsey, both of Pine Bluff, Jessie F. Lightsey of Memphis, Donald Lightsey of Millington, Tenn., Leo Lightsey of Grapevine and Robert Lightsey of Biscoe; 4 daughters: Mrs. Emogene Miller of Memphis, Mrs. Allene West of Grapevine, Mrs. Aloce Bradley of Pine Bluff and Mrs. Margaret Casteel of Memphis; 30 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sat., Jan. 2, 1982 at Bethany No. 1 Missionary Baptist Church, Grapevine, by Rev. J.R. Berry. Burial was in Davis Cemetery, Grapevine by Buie Funeral Home.
