All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************************** Vivian "Nanny" Shellnut Vivian "Nanny" Shellnut, 85, of Sheridan, Ark., passed away Aug. 22, 2001. She was a member of Forest Tower Baptist church, Faith Chapter 223 of the Eastern Star and former president of the Grant County Fifth Sunday Singing. Mrs. Shellnut was a Sunday School Teacher for 35 years, former owner operator of Vivian's Dairy Bar in the Ico community and machine operator at Ottenheimer/Kellwood. She was an avid fisherman. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law: Pauline and L.V. Smith of Sheridan; two sons and daughters-in-law: Joe and Jacie Shellnut of Clarksville, Ralph and Barbara Shellnut of Sheridan; a sister: Mary Mabry of Little Rock; nine grandchildren, 17 great- grandchildren; and her loving caregiver for eight years, Evelyn Skorcz. Mrs. Shellnut was preceded in death by her husband: Arlin Shellnut; and two great-grandsons: Tony Murphy and Tyler Brawley. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Aug. 25 at Forest Tower Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Oden and the Rev. Larry Beatty officiating. Burial followed at Bethel Cemetery (North) in Sheridan. Arrangements were by North Little Rock Funeral Home.
