Vesta O. Rucker Webb

    Vesta Otheniel Rucker Webb, 84, of Bartlesville, Okla,; formerly
of Sheridan, was born in Grant County on Dec. 26, 1916, the daughter
of the late Fred and Rosa E. Cullins Rucker. She died at her home in
Oklahoma on Oct. 29, 2001.
    She was a member of Palestine Missionary Baptist Church in Grant
County, was the widow of Roy Lee Webb and was preceded in death by a
son, Boyce Webb.
    Survivors are three daughters: Levoy Cullins and Yetieve McGee of
Sheridan, Yevonne Gunter of Bartlesville, Okla.; a brother: Thurman
Rucker of Zapata, Texas; sister: Donnie Gene Zook of Morrilton; nine
grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great
grandchildren.
    Graveside services were held Nov. 3 at 2 p.m. at Corinth Cemetery
in Grant County with the Rev. Robert Cossey officiating.
    Buie Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
