B. Morgan aged 60 years, died last night at 9:15 o'clock at the local hospital following an illness of more than two weeks. She was a native of Johnson county, Tenn and been a resident of this state for 22 years, about 17 years being part of this city. Mrs Morgan had been in a failing health for a number of months and about two weeks ago was conveyed to the hospital where she underwent an operation. Until a few days ago, it was thought she would recover, but pneumonia developed. Mrs Morgan is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs Ed Brummett of route two; four sons, Ernest Morgan of Osowatomie, Kansas, Jessie Morgan of Marmaduke and Robert and Burrell Morgan of this city: two sisters, Mrs Bette Nesbitt and Miss Millie Elkins, two brothers, Robert Elkins of this county and John Elkins of Charleston, Mo. The funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning from the home of Mr and Mrs Burrell Morgan, 612 Bradburn Street, followed by interment in New Friendship cemetery. The pastor of the East Side Baptist church of which she was a member, will officiate.
