Recognizing the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death at some future day do make and publish this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all other last wills and Testaments herebefore by me at anytime made and published. In the name of God Amen! First I commend my Soul to God its giver and creator and my body to the earth from whence it came. Second it is my will that my body be decently buried after my decease and that the funeral expences be paid out of whatever effects I may die seized or possessed of. Third it is my will that all my just debts be paid out of my effects as soon after my decease as practicable. Fourth it is my will that what property moneys effects or choses in action may belong to me at my death after the payment of the funeral expenses and debts as above directed be disposed of in the manner following that is to say I will and bequeath to each of my Grand children namely. Victoria V Crowley, Syntha A Crowley, Nancy J Crowley, Bell Crowley, Lucian G Crowley, and Bennona H Crowley children off my Deceased daughter Elizabeth J Crowley the first wife of Benjamin H Crowley, and the following named Grand children children of my Deceased son Samuel J Crowley. to wit William T Crowley, Wiley J Crowley, John S Crowley, James B Crowley, Lucy V Crowley and Sarah J Crowley, each the some of five dollars in money. Benjamin H Crowley the father of the six first named children having received money and property from me paid out of my estate heretofore an amount greater than on half thereof. Therefore It is my will that all of the property moneys notes accounts effects or choses in action belonging to me or my estate or that may come or accrue to the some that shall remain after the payment of the debts funeral expences and Legacies above named shall be equally divided between the children of my deceased son Samuel J Crowley namely William T Crowley Wiley J Crowley John S Crowley James B Crowley Lucy V Crowley and Sarah J Crowley share and share a like and if any of them should die without issue before the said estate is distributed then and in that case it is my will that the some be divided equally between the survivors of them. It is my will that Hon Jesse N Cypert and Hon S S Mack actt as my Executors to this my last will and testament and I do hereby nominate and appoint them as such and in case either of them should die before my estate is settled it is my will that the survivor of them shall act as such alone. And if both of them should die before my estate is wound up then it is my will that A J Mack shall act as m sole executor until my estate shall be finally settled In testimoney whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this March 12th 1886 Lucy Mellon Seal The foregoing (?)_________ was executed signed sealed and published as her last will and Testament by the Testator Lucy Mellon in our presence.
