Louie Wesson officiating. A resident of Laneburg, Mr. Hunter died Sunday in a local hospital. He was a retired security guard with the Arkansas State Highway Department, a member of the Methodist church, a Veteran of World War II, and a native of Nevada County. He is survived by his wife, Frances Hunter of Laneburg; two sons, William Hunter, Jr. of Clearmont, Fla., Larry Hunter of Laneburg; one daughter, Elizabeth Nichols of Hope; one brother, Ira Hunter of Prescott; three sisters, Pearl Thrasher of Prescott, Velma Gregory of El Dorado, Denver Gassaway of Little Rock; and six grandchildren.
