I give and bequeath to my beloved Wife Margaret Moss, all my property and Estate, both real, personal and mixed, to have and to hold, during her natural life, and any residue that may remain at her death, to be equally divided between my children. This bequest is made subject to the payment of all my just debts. I further Will and desire, that to enable my wife to Liquidate said debts, without costs; that she may sell and dispose of any of said property for that purpose, at private sale upon such terms and conditions, as to her may seem best and proper. As my debts are small and easily liquidated it is my wish that my Wife may be and she is hereby appointed Sole Executrix of this my Will. And I hereby desire that no Security be required for her said administration, unless the same shall be thought necessary to Secure the claims of my just creditors. In testimony whereof, I have declared this to be my last Will and Testament, and signed my name thereto in the presence of William Moss, Jordon Hambleton & John T. Gilbert, who sign the same as witnesses at my request, this fifth day of February AD 1856.
