LORETTA ROBERTSON CAPPS

     Loretta Robertson Capps, 88, of Malvern died June 8, 1996, at
the HSC Medical Center.  Born Jug. 13, 1907, in Pottsville to the
late James and Mary Jane Bowman Robertson, she was a homemaker and
was married to W.C. Capps.  She was a member of the Meadowview
Missionary Baptist Church.
     Survivors include one son, Guy L. Capps of Malvern;  two
daughters, Hilda Mosley and Helen L. Matlock, both of  Malvern;  26
grandchildren;  numerous great-grandchildren and great grandchildren
and neices and nephews.
     Funeral services willbe held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 12,
1996, at the Meadowview Baptist Church with Elder Doug Hammonds and
Elder Fred Ethridge officiating.  Burial will be in the old DeRoche
Cemetery near Bismardk under the direction of Atkinson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Tim Hammonds, Carl Matlock, Ronnie Matlock, Gary
Matlock, Raymond Dee Robertson and Buddy Capps.
     Visitation will be held Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at the Atkinson
Funeral Home.
