KACIE DAVIS SR.

     Kacie Davis, Sr., 76, died June 24, 1996, at his home in
Malvern.  Davis was a member of Greater New Hope Baptist  Church,
where he served as a deacon, choir member and past president of the
Brotherhood.  He was a World War II Veteran and a retired bus driver
for Malvern Public Schools.
     Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ledridge and
Paulette Davis of Charlotte, N.C., and Kacie Davis Jr. of Little
Rock;  four daughters and three sons-in-law, Helen and James
Lincoln, Joe Ann and Eugene BUrns, all of LosAngeles, Calif., and
Vanessa Finley of Malvern;  17 grandchildren;  29 great-
grandchildren;  and two great-great-grandchildren.
     Funeral services will be Saturday, June 29 at 12 p.m. at
Greater New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. J.O.T. Lea officiating.
Burial will be in Perla Cemetery with Brandon's Mortuary in charge
of arrangements.
     Visitation for family and friends will be June 28 from 2-8 p.m.
in the chapel of Brandon's Mortuary.
