MAXINE BURCHFIELD JAYNE

     Maxine Burchfield Jayne, 66, of Bismark died Wednesday, Sept. 18,
1996, at her home.  She was born Nov. 8, 1929, in Bismarck to the late
W.N. and Beulah Diffee King Sr.  She was a retired seamtress and was
preceded in death by two husbands, Joe Burchfield and Ken Jayne.
     Survivors include two sons, Roger Burchfield of Bismarck, and
Larry and his wife Cody Burchfield of Ashdown;  one daughter Brenda
Sutton of Sutton, Alaska;  two brothers, Dusty King of Camden, and
Junior King of Bismarck; one sister Wanda Burns of Malvern;  five
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
     Graveside services will be Saturday, Sept. 21, 2 p.m., at the
Dillard Cemetery with Rev. Curt Stillwell officiating under the
direction of Murry-Ruggles Funeral Home.
