All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************************** THE DAILY RECORD Malvern, Hot Springs County, Arkansas July 3, 1996 ZANE ROWE MAY Zane Rowe May was born in Lewisville, Ark., on Aug. 3, 1970, and died June 29, 1996. He was very much loved by his family: mother, Bobbie Beatty; brother and sister, Dave and Morgan Beatty of lewisville; father and step-mother Stan and Donna May; brother and sis, Micah and Mandy May; and also his grandparens, Ed and Sybil Rowe of Stamps, Lewis and Juanita May of Hot Springs, Jimmy and Wanda Ottinger of Malvern, and John and Helen Beatty of Lewisville. Zane graduated from Lewisville High School in 1988. He attended ad played baseball at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia before enlisting in the Air Force in March of 1993. He graduated as an Honor Graduate from the School of Aerospace Medicine's Aerospace Medical Specialist Course at Brooks Air Force Base, Texas, in June 1993. His awards in the Air Forsce include Air Force Achievement Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, Air Force Good Conduct Medal National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and the AirForce Training Ribbon. During his time served in the Air Force, Zane completed numerous deployments in Africa, Germany, Puerto Rico and his last in Saudia Arabia. A memorial service will be held at Malvern First Assembly of God Church, 1421 s. Main., on Friday, July 5, at 10 a.m. Burial will be at a later service in Stamps. Friends have established a memorial fund at the Malvern National Bank that is directed by financial advisor Rex Holbrook from Arkadelphia. The family would like to thank the many church members, friends and family that have given their prayers and love.
