ARILTON ARTHELL PARISH

     Arilton Arthell Parish, 63, of Donaldson died Friday, Sept. 20,
1996, at his home.  He was born Oct. 5, 1932, at Saginaw to Waltoer
and Lois Cates Parish. He was retired from the Arkansas State
Highway Department, member of the American Legion, a U.S. Army
Veteran of the Korean War, and a member of Saginaw Missionary
Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his father.
     Survivors include his wife Betty Sheets Parish of Donaldson;
one son Arilton Parish Jr. of Malvern;  two daughters, Shawna
Valbuena of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Stacey Hiatt of Saginaw;
his mother Lois Cates Parish of Riverside, Calif., two sisters,
Billie Emory of Bull Head City, Ariz., Patsy Lewis of Riverside,
Calif.;  and five grandchildren.
     Graveside services will be Saturday, Sept. 21, 10 a.m., at
Neighbors Cemetery with Bro. Bernard Strother and Bro. Kevin Spurlin
officiating.  Burial will follow under direction of Atkinson Funeral
Home.  Pallbearers wil be Steve Lane, Larry Parish, Donnie Parish,
Randy Parish, Louis Turner, and Vincent Turner.
