Ty was born June 13, 1983 in Arkadelphia,Clark County,AR to Rex Antone Smedley and Charmian DeAngelis Smedley. He was a former FBLA member, a 2001 graduate of Bismark High School and a construction worker. He is survived by his father, Rex Antone Smedley of Austin,TX; his mother and stepfather, Charmian and Mark House of Donaldson; a brother, Dustin Prince of Monticello; three sisters Kimberley Prince of Bismarck; Desha Smedley of Donaldson and Natasha Smedley of Austin,TX; his grandmothers, Helen DeAngelis of Bismarck and Ruth Marie "Bunny" (Garner) Smedley of Arkadelphia; uncles, an aunt and one niece.
