LOIS E. MICHAEL WALLACE

     Lois E. Michael Wallace, 60, of Sheridan died Wednesday, Sept.
18, 1996, at jefferson Regional Medical Center.  She was born Feb.
21, 1936, in Redfield where she was reared, educated, and graduated
from high school.  She was a member of Second Baptist Church in
Malvern.  She was preceded in death by a brother Bunny Michael and a
granddaughter Kathryn Grace Abercrombie.
     Survivors include two sons, John Ralph Wallace of Benton, and
Anthony Alan Wallace of Kessler Air Force Base, Miss.;  two
daughters, Betty Catherine Clardy of Malvern, and Suzie Abercrombie
of Dallas, Texas;  her mother Margie Michael of Sheridan;  severn
sisters, Alma Carroll of Pine Bluff, Ruth Pye of Jefferson County,
Odean Rawls of  Sheridan, Doris McCombs of Fayetterville, Dot Cruce
of Oklahoma, Arlene Harris of Pine Bluff, Helen Caplinger of
Knoxville;  two brothers, Bob Michael of Pine Bluff and Carrolll
Michael of Jefferson  County;  and seven grandchildren.
     Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 21, 10 a.m., at the
chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with Rev. Ken Ashlock officiating. 
Interment will be at Jones Cemetery.  The family will receive
friends at Robinson's Friday, Sept. 20, 6-8 p.m.
