Willmon Funeral rites for Mrs. Serena Elizabeth Willmon, aged 86, who died Saturday were conducted Monday afternoon at two o’clock in the North Malvern Assembly of God Church. Rev. C. J. Hartwick officiated and burial was in Jones Cemetery near Brown Springs with Kidder Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Active pallbearers were Eugene Dunkin, Thelton Morehead, Junior Willmon, Fred Byrd, Jiggs Campbell and Emil Caple. Mrs. Willmon was a native of Scottsboro, Ala., but had resided here for 65 years. She was an active member of the North Malvern Assembly of God Church. Survivors include two sons, Luther Willmon of Route Four, Malvern and Owen Willmon of Little Rock; two daughters, Mrs. Ida Byrd and Mrs. Maggie Morehead of Malvern; a half-sister, Mrs. Almeda Lemons of Scottsboro, Ala., 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
