E. Clark died Thursday night at his home here following a prolonged illness. He was 66 years old and a native of Independence county, having been born and reared in this community. He is survived by his wife and five daughters, Mrs. N. B. [Myrtle] Lane of this place, Mrs. Wretha Granger of Eden, Tenn., Mrs. Cleba Rutledge of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. W. C. [Gertie] Creasy of Scott, and Miss Lorene Clark of this place; also by three sons, James, Lawrence, and Dane. The remains were buried Friday afternoon at Blue Springs. Rev. C. C. Hance conducting the funeral services.
