Newport - Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Jane Massey, 71, of Tupelo, were held at
Tupelo Tuesday with burial at Desha Cemetery.  She died Monday in a Newport
hospital.

She was a member of the Methodist church.  She is survived by four sons, W. F.
and Dorr of Tupelo, Clint and Chester of Newport; two brothers, Weaver Stewart
and Pierce of Olyphant and two half brothers, Ed and Andy Stewart of McHue,
Tex.; five sisters, Mrs. Ed Bullard of Batesville, Mrs.Melvin Webb of Virginia,
Mrs. Cecil Jones of Texas, Mrs. Virgil Cobb of Oklahoma and Mrs. Ed Plaster of
Colorado.
