She was a homemaker, a retired L.P.N. and a Baptist in faith. She is survived by her husband, Woodrow Walter Cook of the home; one son, James W. Cook of Calico Rock; two daughters, Linda Jeffery of Melbourne, and Sylvia Engles of Calico Rock; one sister, Velma Pearson of Houston, Texas, seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 5, 1989, at the Calico Rock Baptist Church with the Reverends Ralph Allmon, Thomas Bradley, Scott Johnson, and Ronnie McAllister officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery at Calico Rock with arrangements by Crouch Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Brandon Cook, Derrick Cook, Clifton Cook, Gerald Tosh, Odell Shaw, and Sammy Carolan. Servings as Honorary pallbearers were Roland King, Roe Cantrell, O.D. King, Walter Boyd, Alton Rush, and Jay Harris.
