Daniel Jeffery, who was in town Tuesday night, that one day last week Mr. BASIL PRATER was burning brush on his farm near Sylamore, when some cattle approched a burning tree which was threatning to fall and as he went to drive them away, it fell on him, killing him instantly. Mr. PRATER was an old, well to-do and highly esteemed citizen, and his bereaved family have the sympathies of his many neighbors and acquaintances. ************************************************************************ My name is Sandie Prater.
