Nowata Daily Star - Nowata Co. Nowata, Ok. -  Oct 1973

Nowata-Hina Claude Rush age 62 of Nowata died at home Sunday. He was a 
construction  worker. Born Sept 7, 1910, Melbourne, Ar. he was the son 
of Henry and Rose (Whiteside) Rush. He moved from Arkansas to Chelsea in 
1954 and to Nowata from Claremore in 1957. 
  In 1938 he was married to Armilda Neel at Melbourne. She died Jan 22, 
1960. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Rush of 107 W. 15th, 
Coffeyville, Ks and Linda Carnell of Alvin, Tex, two sons, Calvin of 
Nowata and Lonnie of Collinsville, a sister, Nina Faye Kirby of Nowata, 
two brothers, Dallas of Wenatchee, Wash, and Leonard of Truman, Ar., and 
five grandchildren. 
  Rush was a member of the Nowata Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 
held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Benjamin Funeral Service, Burial will be 
in the Nowata memorial Park Cemetery.
