(* before an entry suggests that this entry made have errors and will need to be rechecked against the originals.) ************************************************************************ BOARD CEMETERY "In 1969, Elizabeth Gregg Patterson of Ann Arbor, Michigan, moved the stones marking the graves of her great-grandparents, Christopher Willis and Elizabeth Ann (Jones) Board, from the long-neglected Board Cemetery at Old Elgin on [the] Black River to Walnut Grove Cemetery in Newport. The two markers were placed on the Thomas James Watson lot in Walnut Grove. (Watson's wife, Elizabeth Board Watson, was Col. and Mrs. Board's daughter, and grandmother of Elizabeth Patterson." BOARD.
