Clark of Newport passed away at the State Sanatorium, Booneville, Monday following an extended illness. She was 53 years of age. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ike Hall and Mrs. Titus Christian of Newport and Mrs. Weslen Mayhan of Morrilton; a son, William A. Clark of Newport; a sister, Mrs. Fannie E. Wathen of Cairo, Ill., and five grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at the First Baptist Church this afternoon at 2:30 by the pastor, the Rev. Chas. F. Wilkins, burial was had in Walnut Grove cemetery. Pallbearers were; Bennie Nelson, Lee Wilson, Harry Dunham, Albert Tims, Robert L. Robinson and H. O. Norman. The Frank Leach Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Bryant Lassiter of Ingleside Passes Away Bryant Lassiter, 46, of Ingleside Route, passed away Monday evening at 8:40 at the home of his sister, Mrs. Mary Sutterfield. He was a member of the Baptist Church and was born in Arkansas May 12, 1901 Survivors include a brother, John Lassiter, of Bradford and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Sutterfield, Ingleside Route, and Mrs. Rosie Eady of Auvergne. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. W. A. Mink at the home of Mrs. Sutterfield, Ingleside, this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial was made in Sand Hill cemetery. The Dillinger Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. ========================================================================
