RILEY Mrs. Junie B. Riley, 59, wife of Claud Riley of 1707 West 13th Street, died early today in a Little Rock hospital. Mrs. Riley was a daughter of the late J. Frances and Martha Wade Blasingame Mullikin, and was born in Lincoln County. She attended school at Star City. She was a Baptist. Survivors also include a son, Wilbur Lee Riley of Pine Bluff; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Louise Stuckey of Pine Bluff; a sister, Mrs. Jesse Bates of Star City; and a brother, W. W. Mullikin of Tulsa. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the South Funeral Home. [Note: The burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery, White Hall. Aunt of submitter Peggy Reichard.] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Pine Bluff Commercial, Pine Bluff, AR, 1960 CLAUD RILEY, RETIRED CARPENTER Pine Bluff - November 6. Claud Riley, aged 70, of Pine Bluff, died Saturday at his home. He was a retired carpenter and a Baptist. He was born at Searcy and moved to Pine Bluff in 1912. Survivors include a son, Wilbur Lee Riley of Pine Bluff; a daughter, Mrs. Bill Lassiter of Warren; two brothers, Harry Riley of Pine Bluff, and Charles Riley of Bryan, Texas, and four grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. at South Funeral Chapel here by Rev. Robert L. Smith. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. [Note: Memorial Park Cemetery is located at White Hall, Pa. ESTHER RILEY Mrs. Esther Mullikin Riley, 70, of 3102 Taft Street, died Saturday, June 15, at Loma Linda Nursing Home. She was the widow of Charles M. Riley Sr., who died April 26. Born in Star City, she was a daughter of the late Rufus Kendrick and Ann Blasingame Mullikin. She was a former employee of Southwestern Bell Telephone Company here, and of Dr. Howard L. Hall. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and the Phebean Bible Class. Survivors include a son, Charles Riley Jr. of Pine Bluff; three daughters Mrs. Cecil Welch of Pine Bluff, Mrs. Edgar Smith of Springfield, Mo., and Mrs. Robert Reichard of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania; three brothers, R. K. Mullikin, Buck Mullikin, and Jake Mulllikin of Star City; three sisters, Mrs. Lewis Hall and Mrs. Charlie Newman of Star City, and Mrs. Dennis Scifres of Pine Bluff; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at Ralph Robinson & Son Mortuary by Reverend Anton Uth. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leland Riley, Mac Hierd, Wilbur Riley, Dr. Howard L. Hall, Vernon Flake, Jack Sims, Erby Cook, Bill Mayfield and J.P. Blackwell. Charles Riley, Sr., age 72, of 3102 Taft Street, died Friday at Jefferson Hospital. He was a retired automobile mechanic. A native of Hot Springs, he was a son of the late Edgar Mitchell and Fannie Wadley Riley. He moved here as a child and attended school here. He was employed for many years at Pines Motor Company and later Brown Motor Company prior to his retirement in December, 1961. Survivors include his wife, The former Esther O. Mullikin, whom he married in 1925 here; a son, Charles Riley, Jr. of Pine Bluff, Mrs. Cecil Welch of Pine Bluff, Mrs.Edgar Smith of Springfield, Missouri, and Mrs. Robert Reichard of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania; a brother Harry Riley of Pine Bluff; 13 grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Ralph Robinson & Son Mortuary by Dr. J. C. House. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. He was a retired comptroller at the Pine Bluff Arsenal and a Baptist. Survivors are his wife, Catherine Maupin Riley; four daughters, Terah Magoun of Concord Cal., Lynn Thompson of Springdale, LuAnn Kenward of Pine Bluff and Kim Worthen of Grapevine (Grant County); two sisters, Mary Lou Smith of Springfield, Mo., and Peggy Reichard of Mount Joy, Pa., and five grandchildren. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Ralph Robinson and Son Mortuary at Pine Bluff. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
