Wednesday, May 15, 1985 ALLEN LEMAY Allen S. LeMay, 49, of Jena, died at his residence in Jena on Saturday, May 4, 1985. He was district manager in Southease Asia for Penrod Drilling Co., a member of the Baptist faith, a mason and veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Korea. Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, at the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home in Jena with Rev. Lester Johnson and Rev. Earl Paul officiating. Burial followed at the Wilson cemetery of Louisville, Arkansas, following graveside services at 5:00 p.m. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Paul LeMay of Jena; a daughter, Kathy Morris of Jonesville; a son, Terry LeMay of Jena; his mother, Ruby LeMay of Stamps, Ark.; three brothers, Don LeMay of Jonesville; Tim LeMay of Texarkana, Ark. and Tilmon LeMay of Stamps, Ark.; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ellis Erwin, Johnny Brazell, Bobby Ford, Pete Prudhomme, Clay Ray and Nelson Sellers. Honorary pallbearers were Price Gallop and Roy Junior Brown. **** Note: Allen was born in Lafayette Co., Ark. to the union of Bennie S. & Ruby Brown LeMay on July 8, 1935. Grandchildren that survived him are his daughter, Kathy's, children, Tia Rebecca Morris and Chad Winson Morris. Since his death in 1885 his son, Terry, became the father of two sons, Brandon Lane LeMay and Landon Lane LeMay. Graduated Stamps High School, Lafayette Co., Ark. on May 22,1953. Diploma in possesion of daughter, Kathy LeMay Kelly Known locations of residence: Stamps, Lafayette Co., Arkansas - place of birth also buried there. Jena, LaSalle Parish, Louisiana - place of death Mississippi & Alabama - as oilfield employee while employed by Wolff & Magee Drilling Co. Holland on drilling platform in the North Sea as Tool Pusher working 30 days on 30 days off. Glasco, Scotland in 1978 as Superintendant for Penrod Drilling Co. Kavalla, Greece in 1979 as Superintendant for Penrod Drilling Co. Jakarta, Indonesia as Management Superintendant for Penrod Drilling Co.until death in 1985. The obituary states that he was a Mason.
