Mrs. McDonald was born December 2, 1916 in McKamie, Ark. She was retired from the Alan White Company and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Stamps. She was preceaded in death by her husband, Bunk McDonald; one son, Wilson McDonald; and one daughter, Delores Jo Cockerham. Survivors include six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Tom Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Texarkana Daily Gazette, June 28, 1999. Bernard W. "Bunk" McDonald 74, of Stamps, Ark died Thursday at his home. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Johnstone officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Stamps. Mr. McDonald was born May 8, 1914 in Stamps. He had been employed with Nehi Bottling Co., and Alan White Co., was retired from Hudson Chevrolet Co., and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Stamps. Survivors include his wife, Rena Allen McDonald of Stamps; one brother, J.W. McDonald of Rancho Cordova, Calif; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Stamps, with the Rev. Johnny Johnston and Joe Dickey officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Mrs. Cockerham was born February 27, 1941 in Stamps. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Stamps, and an employee of Hamilton Grocery. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Cockerham of Stamps; two sons, Rodney Cockerham of Buckner, Ark; and Mark Cockerham of Houston, Texas; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. B.W.
