F. Foster, was made very sad Tuesday night, when the death angle entered and claimed their youngest son Thurman. He was suffering from a fall from a tree last Saturday, and physicians advised an operation, and he was taken to Texarkana, late Monday night, but after examination it was found he could not undergo the operation and gradually grew weaker. Loving hands administered to his sufferings he lingered until 4 oclock Thursday afternoon, when God, who doeth all things well, and who said “Suffer little children to come unto Me” called Thurman to dwell with Him. Thurman was just 12 years of age and was loved by all for his kind and sweet disposition. Besides the heartbroken parents he leaves three brothers and six sisters to mourn his going away. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist church conducted by Rev. Burnett, interment following in the city cemetery. Name of Newspaper Lafayette Co.
