Obituary

   While in the Pacific theater during World War II, Clem Williams Jr., Seaman 
First Class, contracted a severe illness from which he never recoverey.  He was 
brought to the states where he died in the U.S. Navy Hospital, Oakland, 
California.  He was the first casuality of war from Lee County, Arkansas.
