STAR CITY - Maxine "Mack" Edmonds McGehee, 83, of Star City, died Saturday at
Gardner Nursing Home at Star City.

She was born March 23, 1923, in Lincoln County, a daughter of the late Robert
Lee and Eula Tucker Edmonds.

She was a homemaker, a member of Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church, and a
volunteer at Gardner Nursing Home for 23 years.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Houston Marion McGehee; five
brothers; three sisters; and a grandson, Greg Morgan.

Survivors include three sons, Rendell McGehee, Jimmy McGehee and Jackie McGehee,
all of Star City; three daughters, Charlcie Morgan and Linda Owen, both of Star
City and Marilyn Schlenker of Tichnor; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Griffin Funeral Home at Star City
with J.C. Patterson and Tim McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in Drake
Cemetery near Star City.
