Flora Ophelia Pemberton Manes Tarlton, 85, of Pine Bluff, formerly of Gould,
died Monday.

She was born June 13, 1921, in Yell County, a daughter of the late Port
Pemberton and Myrtle Belle Yancy Pemberton.

She was a member of the Garrett Bridge Assembly of God.

She was a retired seamstress for Bassett.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Tarlton; five sons, Clyde
Curt, Garland Manes and three infant sons; one sister, Margaret Jones; one
grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.

Surivors include one son, George Manes Jr. of Pine Bluff; one stepson, Curtis
Lee Tarlton of California; one brother, Clyde Pemberton of Corcoran, Calif.; one
sister, Doley Runnells of Pine Bluff; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren;
and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Griffin Funeral Home with the
Rev. Joe Poss officiating.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
