Head Cemetery is located one mile north of Richmond, Arkansas on 
Richmond road which is four miles west of Ashdown on Highway 32.  
This family cemetery is located on the private property of Gerald 
and Maxine Wisdom which was the John Cain Head home place after 
the Civil War in which he served as a Confederate officer with his
 brothers.  This small cemetery was devastated by the 2000 ice 
storm and only John C. Head's marker is still completely intact.  
Little River County Genealogy Society member, Larry Cribbs 
catalogued and photographed this cemetery on February 20, 2004.  
Special thanks to Louise Faulkner for her help in setting up 
this cemetery to be catalogued.
